From August 18th to 26th, 2025, the repertoire of Johann Strauss (1825 – 1899) serves as the foundation for this year’s music academy, shaping the concert programs that will be developed. In addition, Wolfgang A. Mozart's (1756 – 1791) ‘Symphony in G minor KV 550’ will be performed.
The programme includes a Johann Strauss workshop, theoretical and practical orchestra lessons and orchestra rehearsals as well as specialist lectures on the reconstruction process, programmes on local culture and history, tastings and celebrations with the local population. The programme also includes musical interactions with the local band.
Public events include concerts in Norcia and Rome, a musical interaction with the Accumoli band, musical accompaniment to the commemoration of the anniversary of the earthquake and a memorial concert.
